Longview Properties

    

Bill is currently CEO of Longview Properties Group, Inc. He has a strong background in Technology and Business Administration with over 22 years of professional experience managing companies in different industries but always strongly attracted to the renovation and building of residential properties.

Prior to Longview Properties, Bill was a Vice President in the Residential Division of National Summit Group. He worked on several homes in the Ellard subdivision all of which were $1M+ in sales price.

For over two years, Bill was managing partner of Compton Properties, LLC, a home renovation company located in Atlanta, GA. Bill bought and renovated single family homes in Atlanta, Woodstock and Roswell.

Prior to the founding of Compton Properties, Bill was President and CEO of ComLink Enterprises, LLC, a technology consulting firm focusing on the computer networking needs of small and mid-sized businesses. This company was founded in Richmond, Virginia and operated in both Richmond and Atlanta, GA.

Bill has been the Director of Technology Services for DynaSis Systems Integration, a local mid-sized technology firm. Responsibilities included maintaining partner relationships with major manufacturers while also maintaining business relationships with Atlanta-based business owners who purchased computer networking products.

From 1989 through 1999, Bill was the Director of Sales for Personnel Groups of America and Account Manager for Electronic Data Systems, both of which are large computer consulting firms managing projects for companies such as Virginia Power, McKesson HBOC, Capital One and the United States Army. During his time working with the Army account, he traveled to bases all over the United States setting up new computer equipment and training Army personnel on its proper use. Prior to the first Gulf war, he planned for and executed setting up communications equipment in Saudi Arabia as part of Desert Storm.

Bill served in the United States Navy from 1982 until 1989. Half of this service was aboard the USS Pharris FF1094 where he was a member of the second fleet during the conflict with Libya in 1986. After serving shipboard, he served at a Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach. Bill’s responsibilities included training technicians in the maintenance and repair of communications and navigation equipment.

Bill has served as President of the Windward Rotary Club for the 2005-2006 Rotary year.
